Who we are

FieldScan LLC ("FieldScan", "we", "us") provides geospatial and documentation services to AEC professionals. This policy explains what information we collect when you use FieldScan LLC services or visit fieldscan.net, and how we use it.

What we collect

Contact form submissions. When you submit our quote request form, we collect the information you provide (name, email, phone, company, project details). This is processed through Formspree and arrives in our inbox.

Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site: pages viewed, how you arrived (search, ad, link), approximate location, device type, and whether you submitted the quote form, tapped a phone number, or clicked an email link. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to recognise a returning browser. We use these reports only in aggregate to improve the site and our services. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.

Cloudflare Web Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views, referrers, and page load speed. It does not set cookies and does not track individual visitors across sites.

Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) logs IP addresses and request headers as part of normal web operations. These logs are retained per Cloudflare's policy.

How we use information

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your inquiry, scope your project, and deliver the services you contract us for. We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not add inquiry submissions to a marketing list.

How long we keep information

Project inquiries and correspondence are retained for the duration of our business relationship plus seven years for regulatory and tax purposes. Analytics data is retained per the provider's settings and policy.

Third parties

Formspree processes our contact form submissions — see their privacy policy.

Google provides Google Analytics — see their privacy policy.

Cloudflare hosts the site and serves the CDN — see their privacy policy.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load Google Analytics for your visit. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, still records an anonymous page view.

Tracking by third parties

Google, as the provider of Google Analytics, collects information about your visit on our behalf as described above. No other third party tracks visitors on this site, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

Your rights

If you are in California, the EU, UK, or other jurisdiction with applicable data protection law, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email info@fieldscan.net.
